Swiffer — Reviews & Guide

Swiffer essentially invented (and owns) the pad-swap floor and dusting category: sweep with a dry cloth, mop with a wet pad, dust shelves with a duster, and throw the pad away. It's convenience-first cleaning baked into the design.

The convertible sweeper is the key Swiffer we test: pad-based floor cleaning that grabs dust without a bucket, and the wet-pad option for a quick mopping pass. Its entire appeal is that there's no rinse-and-reuse ritual at all.

Honest trade-off: pad refills are a recurring cost and a plastic footprint, which pits convenience against the eco-friendly clusters we also cover.
