Drano — Reviews & Guide
The category-defining drain cleaner — thick gel that clears slow pipes.
Drano is the drain-cleaner brand that defined the category — thick gel formulas that pour through standing water and dissolve the hair-and-soap clogs that slow bathroom drains.
Its Max Gel is the classic Saturday fix: it sinks through standing water, clings to the clog and dissolves the build-up without backing up the pipe.
The honest advice built into its trust is method: plunge first, treat second, and treat only occasional slow drains — weekly use points to a physical clog or a plumber.
